This election we can make the difference
It is hard to understand why things happen. This year we were faced with the tragic death of two cyclists who's life was dedicated to making this world a better place. Their life had a purpose and meaning like others who came before them; Monica Caban, Devona, Andrew Williams.
These accidents changed my life and I'm sure they affected yours. I admit that this year most of my cycling time has been on trainer. It upsets me, and I don't want to give in. I want to be outside, enjoy the fresh air, the camaraderie, the beers after the ride, the challenge, and the feeling of belonging that being in a group gives me. I don't want to coward into a TrainerRoad, Peloton or a Swift app and pretend its ok. On the other hand I am afraid that for no fault of my own a distracted driver could take my life. I can't live like this. I want it to change. Many other cities have done it. Why not San Antonio. This is why this year I will vote in candidates that believe in the benefits of creating a bicycle friendly city and are willing to make it happen.
We elect them. They represent us. Let's make sure they represent cyclists.
This May 4th. We can make San Antonio a Bicycle Friendly city with our vote. Join the Bike Bloc. We are a group of dedicated volunteers that does not solicit or accept funding from PAC's, candidates, or parties. We prepare voter guides to help provide information and perspective for San Antonio voters who care about sustainable and livable cities and transportation.
Join the Bike Bloc and lets VOTE for a Bicycle Friendly San Antonio.
